Ek Mauka Ek Umeed (NGO) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Community Development Programme (CDP) / Social Internship by Mr. Krish Kaundal, a B.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engineering) student from Lovely Professional University, Punjab.
The internship was conducted from 25 July 2026 to 31 July 2026, during which Krish successfully completed 30 hours of supervised fieldwork under the guidance of Prof. Jasbir Singh, Director cum Secretary, Ek Mauka Ek Umeed (NGO).
Throughout the internship, he actively engaged in rural field studies and community development initiatives aimed at understanding agriculture, livelihoods, environmental sustainability, women’s empowerment, and government welfare programmes.
Key Activities Completed
???? Maize Cultivation Field Study – Understanding farming practices, crop management, and challenges faced by farmers.
???? Dairy & Poultry Farming Study – Learning about livestock management, milk production, poultry farming, and rural entrepreneurship.
???? MGNREGA Field Evaluation & Street Vendor Interaction – Assessing rural employment generation and understanding the livelihood challenges of small entrepreneurs.
♻️ Swachh Bharat Awareness & SHG Women Interaction – Promoting cleanliness, sanitation, and learning about the role of Self-Help Groups in women empowerment.
???????? Anganwadi Centre Visit & Final Internship Report – Understanding child development, nutrition, maternal healthcare services, and documenting field observations.
The internship enabled Krish to develop practical skills in field observation, communication, documentation, problem-solving, and community engagement while contributing towards the mission of Ek Mauka Ek Umeed (NGO).
Our NGO works in the fields of Health, Poverty Alleviation, Education, Environment, and Sustainable Development, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) through grassroots initiatives and youth engagement.
